A Place to Grow, from Age Two Through the Transition to Elementary School

At Alta Plaza Preschool, we see the whole child. Our play-based program welcomes children beginning at age two and supports their growth through the transition to elementary school. We nurture every dimension of development—socially, emotionally, intellectually, and physically—honoring each child’s individuality while helping them build the confidence, independence, and resilience to thrive.

Our open-classroom format brings children of different ages together intentionally. Younger children are inspired by their older peers, while older children develop leadership, empathy, and a sense of responsibility as role models. These meaningful connections foster a strong sense of belonging and allow children to learn with and from one another every day.

At APP, we follow the child. Through purposeful play, hands-on exploration, and a responsive curriculum, we meet children where they are and support their growth at every stage of their early learning journey.
