We’re excited to invite you to one of APP’s favorite traditions — our annual fundraising gala, That ’70s Gala!
Whether your family is currently part of APP, your child is an APP alum, or you’re a beloved member of our extended community, we’d love to celebrate with you!

What: That ’70s Gala
When: Saturday, October 24 at 6:30 PM
Where: Sacred Taco on Union Street in Cow Hollow
Why: To reconnect as a community, enjoy a fun night out (kid-free!), and raise funds that support our children’s learning and growth.

Bring your partner, invite grandparents, relatives, or gather a group of APP friends — everyone in our extended community is welcome!
Then book a sitter and get ready to celebrate APP in true ’70s style.
Dress the part: Bell-bottoms, velvet, sequins, fringe, platform shoes, earth tones, florals, flowing silhouettes, tie-dye, disco glam, bold prints, and statement accessories are all encouraged! Think disco, bohemian, rock ’n’ roll, or flower power. Dress to impress and get ready to party! We’ll send some outfit inspiration soon.
Dinner & drinks: Enjoy two hours of unlimited tacos and an open bar!
Help Make the Auction Amazing
One of the highlights of the gala is our auction, which makes the evening both fun and a meaningful fundraiser for APP.
If you’re able to contribute an auction item, experience, service, or connection, we’d be incredibly grateful. Auction contributions are welcome from alumni families, current families, local businesses, friends, and members of our extended community.
Some ideas include:
Gift cards or items from local businesses
Services such as photography, fitness training, beauty, or wellness
Vacation homes or weekend getaways
Gift baskets (wine, tech, beauty, and more)
“Count Me In” group experiences — pizza parties, movie nights, painting at the park, etc.
Hosting a dinner or wine tasting
Creative or unique experiences — a few years ago, we had a day at Sonoma Raceway!
Submit an auction item here by October 18.
Why It Matters
The gala is APP’s biggest fundraiser of the year, and the funds raised directly support special programming, enriching experiences, and unique learning opportunities for our children.
Even if you aren’t able to attend, there are still ways to participate — bid online, make a donation, or check whether your company offers matching gifts.
And of course, this evening is about more than fundraising. It’s a chance to reconnect with old friends, meet new members of the APP community, reminisce about the years you’ve shared with us, and celebrate the joy of raising children together.
